DIG (the Digital Imaging Group, http://www.digitalimaging.org) is a Consortium of leading companies devoted to exploring, developing and implementing new and smarter digital imaging technologies.

Its European branch (DIG-Europe http://www.digeurope.org) is periodically organising some one day seminars aiming at providing to attendees an update on trends in digital imaging, where DIG-E members and others will give presentations on their current activities on digital imaging, including: new standards, products, R&D and present and future activities.

Given the particular history and culture of the town of Florence, the argument of the one day Seminar will be "Image Processing Applications to the Cultural Heritage Sector".

The Seminar will be organised in four Sessions. Lunch will be available at the University facilities (at attendees expenses).

Thanks to DIG-E technology dissemination policy, attendance is free.

For further information please contact Vito Cappellini (cappellini@det.unifi.it).

The presentations given are now available, just click on the title.
